CSAN member Pact (Prison Advice and Care Trust), has announced it will merge with the family relationships charity Time for Families.
In a joint statement released on 13 February the charities stated that re-offending rates are significantly reduced when a prisoner returns to a stable family environment and in order to better facilitate this the two charities are joining forces. This will create an organisation that can meet the needs of prisoners’ families and strengthen family relationships, which will help prisoners avoid re-offending.
