Caritas Conference 2017: Mission in an Age of Austerity
CSAN’s 2017 Conference will be a one-day event on 29 September 2017, open to members and non-members.
This conference is a unique space for leaders of Caritas Social Action Network member charities and other key experts and partners to shape the future of collaboration on social action in England and Wales.
Through an exciting range of workshops and presentations, the conference will develop approaches for developing our mission, drawing on Catholic Social Teaching, lived experiences in other Christian traditions, and leading edge research:
- How can the Network better support staff, volunteers and leaders at different stages in their personal development, and faith journeys where appropriate?
- How can local communities reach more of their potential in mission?
- How can we faithfully evaluate social action?

The Conference is being offered in partnership with the Centre for Catholic Social Thought and Practice.
